I have tried with same syntax whatever u told.., but the thing is that.., whenever i am trying to assign new stylecolor( any color ) it is not taking with newly assign color.., by default for all it is showing white color only.after assigning., even i tried this wth one front by creating wthglade ....,but again it is showing white only.., even i tried to copy this newly created style (submenu widget color) into default style..and , but no inprovemnt .., since i have done this for desktop application but same thinngs doesnot work on target ...(cross compiling applicaton)..,

i am new user of this group.., i am developing one application using GTK+..,where i want to set different color of menu and submenu(items under main menu)..? like i am using the same color for both menu and submenu...?

can you tell how to set the different color for both i.e menu and submenu.
